In loving memory of

Anthony Geist 7/2/2021
September 7, 1966 - July 2, 2021

On July 2nd, 2021 heaven gained an angel. Anthony Lee Geist, born in Davenport, IA on the 7th day of September, 1966. He is survived by his Wife Michelle, Sons, Alex, Austin and Tanner, Grandson Cian. He loved nature and a hard day of work. Anthony worked tirelessly to finally open his own small business, BlackHawk Fabrication LLC, eventually relocating to his resting home of Liscomb, IA where he will forever remain on his parcel of land that he loved so much. A man of integrity and honor. One of the last believers in the value in a man's word, he passed those traits onto his sons. He was a man of great pride and it was reflected in his property, his vehicles, and his family. A talented artist who could create artwork with any canvas be metal, wood, or pen and paper. He spent his years with few words and fewer emotions. But a better father is hard to find. A better protector there is none. He will be truly missed by family and friends alike. He will live on through his name and his family.

With limitless talents and capabilities, Anthony was known for his various projects and art works. One of the most prominent being a 12' Scarp Steel Guitar he assisted an ASU art class to create. Which is still displayed in Phoenix, AZ Civic Center. His hands were the universal tools to his career, stretching even into the domain of digital world. He held many hobbies all of which he shared with his family. Off-roading, fishing, kayaking, NASCAR, guns and sport shooting, hunting, and so much more. His family will be without him, but not without memories. A firm believer in holding on to everything, a trait that his family would at times question, now is bringing limitless joy through exploration.

A man of very few words. A man of fewer emotions. A man who never would show fear or pain. Until the very end he kept his head up and chin high for his family. Until his last day, he planned and provided. Until his last moment, he cared for us more than himself. The best thing is he never een had to say it.

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be forever at your back. May the rain fall soft upon your fields, and the sun shone bright upon your face. Until we meet again, may God hold you in his hands.

In loving Memory, Anthony Lee Geist- 07/02/2021
