In loving memory of

Edward J. Mazzilli
November 3, 1932 - July 6, 2021

Edward J. Mazzilli of Lansdale passed away with his family by his side at the age of 88 years on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Born in Union City, NJ, he was the son of the late Fred and Gertrude (nee Brady) Mazzilli.

He served in the U. S. Navy from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean Conflict.

He attended college at the Citadel and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Edward's long career in heavy construction allowed him to use his keen engineering mind to construct bridges, tunnels and roads.

Edward was the loving husband of 58 years to Nancy (nee Scerbo) Mazzilli, the devoted father of Edward Mazzilli and his wife Lesley of King of Prussia, PA, Michael Mazzilli and his wife Helen of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, and Elizabeth Selgrath and her husband Christopher of Ambler, PA. He was the loving and proud grandfather of Quinn, Hope, Jenna, Mia, Nathan, Emerson, Griffin, and Benjamin.

Edward spent his free time throughout his life on a racquetball court, on the water, in his garden or in his workshop. He generously donated his time and talent throughout his life to anyone who asked. Most of all, Edward enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, sharing stories, a glass of wine and fellowship. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Eddie knew of the twinkle in his eye and will feel it in their hearts. He was simply that special.

Ed was a member of Elks Lodge in Colmar and the Knights of Columbus.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, PA. Edward's Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Keith J. Chylinski at 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass may be viewed at this link: https://vimeo.com/573488498

Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA on November 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in his name to Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster would be appreciated by the family.
