"I was saddened to read the recent obituary of Vic's passing. While attending KHS back in the 70's I had tragically lost my brother in 10th grade and my cousin in 11th grade. About this time is when I met Vic. We instantly became friends, kidding around, laughing, hanging out with other free spirited teens of the day. He befriended me even when a few of my good friends did not know what to say or how to react. I never realized until I was much older how much I appreciated his friendship. At such a low point in my life Vic made me feel "normal" and aided in my enjoyment of "high school life". For that I will be forever grateful. We lost touch after high school, each heading in other directions as many of us do. It put a huge smile on my face to read about all his accomplishments in life, the people he continued to touch and the beautiful family he has. I have no doubt that his kind, good natured spirit will live on for generations to come. Condolences to his family. Anita Hutton(Warnecke)"

"Vic and I have been friends on Facebook for many many years because of our Kingston connection and had many discussions on various topics including the weather about which he was very knowledgeable. He is back now with his dogs and is so very much missed.. Fair winds and following seas, my friend... The world is a darker place because of your loss."
