LYLA TRUESDALE NICHOLS, Iowa #45;- Lyla Jeanette Truesdale, 70, of Nichols, died Saturday, September 22, 2007, at the Lone Tree Health Care Center. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at the St. Mary?s Church, Nichols, Iowa. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nichols. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, Muscatine. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice. Lyla was born on August 2, 1937, in Muscatine, the daughter of Frank C. and Valeria Willis Lee. She married Leo Raymond Truesdale on August 22, 1964, in Muscatine. Lyla provided loving care for her family and friends. She is survived by one son, Dennis Truesdale and wife, Brenda, of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Eric Truesdale and Ashley Truesdale both at home; one brother, Harvey Lee of Montpelier; and four sisters, Nona Butler of Muscatine, Ileta Lee of Muscatine, Jenny Kemper of Muscatine and Darlene Doak of Davenport. Lyla was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Robert Lee.
