Mary Rose Maletta
March 21, 1933 - July 8, 2021

Mary Rose Maletta of Dresher, PA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mary is the beloved wife of the late Mario Maletta and was preceded in death by brothers Dominick and John Doughall.

She is the devoted mother of Sheila Kronenberg and her husband Mark of Ocean View DE, Colleen Thompson and her husband Brian of Doylestown, PA, and Mario P. Maletta of Dresher PA. She is the loving Nana of grandchildren Billy, Nicole, Kellyanne, Jeffrey, Gina, Karen, and Laura, and her great-grandchildren, Chase, Owen, Wesley, and Sierra. She is also survived by her loving sister Georgina Doherty of Maple Glen, PA, and her many nieces and nephews.

Mary Rose was born on March 21, 1933 in County Sligo, Ireland, the daughter of Dominick Doughall and Jennie (Kelly) Doughall. She emigrated to the United States in her early twenties. She married and raised her family in Germantown and Dresher. She was employed for over 20 years as a dedicated nursing assistant at Fort Washington Estates. Mary Rose was a loving homemaker, caregiver and above all enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Friends and relatives are invited to call after 9:30 AM Friday, July 16, Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave., Ardsley PA 19038. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:15 AM prior to the 10:30 AM Funeral Mass celebrated by Pastor Rev. Lawrence F. Crehan. Interment will follow at St John Neumann Cemetery. Mass will be lived streamed at https://www.qofpeacechurch.org
