Karen Kay Renfro
March 15, 1945 - July 12, 2021

Karen Kay (Scott) Renfro passed away on July 12, 2021, in the comfort of her own home. She was born in 1945 in Chariton, Iowa to Frank and Eva (Corum) Scott. She graduated High School in 1963 from Newton Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Ray Renfro in 1965 in Unionville, Missouri and worked at Maytag Corp for 27 years before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed camping, attending sporting events for her children and Grandchildren, vacations with friends, playing cards and going to garage sales. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Hague-Renfro and her daughter-in-law Robin Hague-Renfro, her Grandson Joshua Millage, Granddaughter Megan James (Anthony James) and Great Granddaughter Aeralyn James. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister Dorothy VanKlavern, husband Ray, beloved son Troy Scott and many of her precious pets.

It is her wish that donations be made to Unity Point Grinnell Hospice. There will be no services and her remains will be buried at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax, Iowa at a later date.
