Florence Louise Hulsair, 95, passed away with family by her side July 7, 2021. Florence was born in Newburgh, NY to Albert S. Felton and Leila H. Felton. It was in New York that Florence met the love of her life, William "Bill" G. Hulsair. The couple later married when Bill returned from the war and had two daughters, Cheryl L. Lucas and Deborah A. Mugridge.
In New York, Florence was an active member of the church and community. Work brought the family to South Florida where Florence became involved in charity work with The Royal Women's Club. She was passionate about art and very talented. Her love for nature can be seen in her paintings as she loved to paint landscapes and floral still lifes. Florence enjoyed time with her family and her grandchildren and they enjoyed her very much.
Florence is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Leila Felton, her brothers, George and Robert Felton, and her husband, William Hulsair. Florence is survived by her daughters, Cheryl L. Lucas (William Lucas) and Deborah A. Mugridge (Robert Mugridge); her grandchildren William Lucas Jr., Michael Lucas, Christopher Lucas, Kati McGuire, Timothy Lucas, Peter Lucas, Ryan Mugridge; and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be held at the Plattekill Reformed Church in Mount Marion, NY on July 24, 2021 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Plattekill Reformed Church.
