" I worked with Sylvia for a number of years in the Student Services Office at Marshalltown Community College. She was a very nice lady, and a good secretary and switchboard operator, as well as being helpful to students. She was always willing to assist where needed and was an asset to the office, as well as being a good friend to all of us who worked with her. My condolences go out to her family. "I would like to leave message for family as I'm unable to make it to service. Sylvia was a very cheerful lady! Grandma said that worked together at the church. I want to let the family know they are in our prayers. "

"I Remember this lady well, and her family, they lived across the street from us, loved going over there. I think that was the neighborhood hangout. Super sweet lady and always welcomed anyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family some day I wish we could all chat. Such a great family "
