He was a graduate of Jenkintown High School, St. Joseph's University, and Thomas Jefferson Medical School. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Hayden, Baylor, Grady, Riley, Brady, Ruby, Lynne, Jonathan, Teddy, Charlotte, and William. He is also survived by five siblings and their families.

"Honey and family, Many fond memories of Larry beginning in HS. Our team played against his HS team, then we met up at St. Joe's as freshman! Wonderful person and teammate. He always seemed at peace and had it all together. Many folks looked up to him. Tireless worker in the classroom and on the court! Everyone's best friend. When St. Ignatius Loyola founded the Jesuits over 500 years ago, Larry must have been with him when they made the list of the foundation principles: 1. strive for excellence 2. seek the Magis......the more, the greater good. 3. Be a person with and for others. 4. Find your God in all peoples and things. God Bless and thanks for the memories, Don DiJulia teammate"
