Rachelle "Shelly" Marie Becklin, age 61, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Trinity, Florida. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 27, 1960 to Charles & Phyllis (Beadle) Brown. To know Shelly was to love her. She had a bright smile, a contagious laugh, she welcomed everyone with an open heart, and she told it like it was. While visiting her daughter and grandchildren in Florida over the holidays, she became extremely ill. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Over the past seven months while receiving treatment in Florida, Shelly fought hard while being surrounded and supported by family. Shelly was a graduate of Mona Shores High School and Muskegon Community College. She was a server and manager at Whitlow's Restaurant for over 25 years.

Shelly is survived by her children, Keith (Jordan McCarter) Becklin, Amanda (Robert Newell) Becklin, Cortney Becklin; Grandchildren Savannah Newell, Beckett Newell, Jett Franklin; Parents Charles (Suzanne) Brown and Phyllis (Ronald) Zant; Sisters, Julie Sweet, Danielle Vanderbeek, Tammy (Doug) Lamphere, Terri (Marty) Ruiter; Brothers, Dave (Sandy) Brown, Jim Brown, Kirk (Kelly) Schouten, Jeff (Dodie) Zant, Tony Zant, Ron Zant; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Please join the family in Celebrating Shelly's life on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4-7pm at Whitlow's Restaurant with a Time of Sharing at 5:30pm.
