Lewis Bertrand Fram
August 9, 1938 - July 20, 2021

Lewis Bertrand Fram, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in Houston, TX. Lewis was born on August 9, 1938 in Goose Creek, TX, to the late Julius and Helen Fram.

He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, Lee Junior College, and The University of Texas at Austin. He completed his education by receiving a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

After graduation, he completed his training in Urology at Ben Taub Hospital, Memorial Hermann and MD Anderson Cancer Center. He had a successful Urology practice for 35 years at Spring Branch Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family. He loved fishing, boating, reading about history, and traveling the world.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Helen. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Marilyn; his three children: Fred and wife Melanie, Joel and husband Martin, and Ricki and husband Matt; his three beautiful grandchildren, Meredith, Jordyn and Jenna; his brother Jerome and his sisters Betty and Tobye; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Emanu El Memorial Park, 8341 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77074. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism.

"I remember Dr Fram , from way back in 1975. He was my urologist after I had a motorcycle accident. His office as I remember, was on Long Point cross from the then Spring Branch Hospital. My deepest condolences to his family on his passing. "
