MUSCATINE, Iowa - Merle F. 'Bud' Hartsock, 92, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, at his home.

Bud was born on June 3, 1929, in Wapello, the son of Harold and Carol Beckey Hartsock. He married Shirley Mahaffey. She preceded him in death. He later married Belva Bishop.
He retired from Kent Feeds after 43 years of service.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Belva Hartsock; son, Michael (Terry) Hartsock; daughter, Susan (Howard) Haynes; three step sons, 'Beaver' (Lisa), Bishop, Jerry (Penny) Bishop, and Brian (Shirley) Bishop; two step daughters Cheryl Bishop and Susan (Chuck) Campbell; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 30 step great grandchildren; two step great great grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbur Hartsock and Robert 'Bob' Jordan; two sisters, Donna Hayes and Carol Ann.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; brother, Gene Hartsock; and step daughter, Lisa Kay Bishop.
