LARRY (L.T.) TERRILL MUSCATINE, Iowa - Larry (L.T.) Terrill, 68, of Muscatine, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Unity Hospital. Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street. Per Larry's request his body has been cremated. Reverend Mary Howell of the Spangler Chapel United Methodist Church will officiate. Private burial will be in Drury Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Spangler Chapel United Methodist Church, West Liberty Country Club, or the American Cancer Society. Larry was born on December 26, 1939, in Drury Township, Illinois, the son of Walter Frank and Bessie May Coulter Terrill. He married Helen Brokken on August 8, 1959, Fairfield, Iowa. Larry attended Illinois City schools and graduated from Reynolds High School in 1957. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany. Larry was employed at Grain Processing Corporation for 35 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Spangler Chapel United Methodist Church and the West Liberty Country Club, where he served as a board member. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and the great times hanging out with his cronies. He was especially proud of his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Helen Terrill, of Muscatine; two sons, Marty Terrill and wife, Teri, of Illinois City, Illinois, Matt Terrill, and wife, Susan, of Galesburg, Illinois; one daughter, Kathi Judge and husband, Kenan, of Clive; eight granddaughters, Kellie, Melissa, Madeline and Ellen Judge, Margaret and Elizabeth Terrill, Misty Rodriguez and special friend, Adam Almandinger and Brandy Clelland and husband Jon; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Miller and John Clelland; four brothers, Dan Terrill and wife, Bette, of Sun City Center, Florida, Jim Terrill and wife Joyce, of Muscatine, Lewis Terrill and wife Mary Ann of Muscatine, and Lloyd Terrill and wife Pat of Illinois City, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant grandson, Aaron, and one brother, Walter Terrill.
