Gary L Foreman
July 17, 1956 - August 3, 2021

Gary L. Foreman, 65, of Deerbrook, died on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 17, 1956, in Antigo, WI, a son of Lowell and Elizabeth "Betty" (Knight) Foreman. He graduated from Antigo High School and went on to study small engine repair at Nicolet College. Gary married Patricia Artz on August 18th, 1977.
He worked in construction in Wausau for 8 years before taking over the family dairy farm in 1985. He and Pat farmed together for 35 years. In 2012 Gary and Pat renovated their barn and began hosting weddings and events at their venue, the Deerbrook Hitching Post.
Gary was a hardworking and kind man that always had a smile on his face. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors including his wife are three daughters, Gina (Brian) Menicucci of Albuquerque, NM, Katie (Craig) Mutz of Merrill, and Jackie (Zach) Nelson of Kronenwetter; nine grandchildren, Hannah, Amber, Ethan, Jackson, Lia, Callie, Max, Penny, and Emma. Two sisters, Janet (Ken) Graves of Burlington, Mary (Jim) Foreman-Cory of Madison, three brothers, Ronald (Denise) Foreman of Wausau, David Foreman of Deerbrook, and Todd Schaefer of Circle Pines, MN.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Teri, his parents, step-father- Harvey Schaefer, and brother, Jim Foreman.
With respect to Gary's wishes, no service will be held.
