"Nedra lived in my Brigham City 16th Ward. That was a long time ago but somehow we kept a connection. We never went to lunch or saw each other that often and time, maybe even years would go by without me seeing her but we always stayed connected by heart strings. I would run into her at the DI and she would be so excited because of something she found that she was going to use for a white elephant gift for her big Xmas Party. When I would see her at the temple it was like I had received a hug from an angel. She had her share of sorrows but she always kept smiling and she radiated joy and light. Her friendship was a gift to me and a blessing. I will miss her but I have no doubt but that she is happy and doing the Lord's work on the other side of the veil. Joetta Hirschi "

"So sorry we could not come to the viewing or service. Rulon and Nedra were a special couple. Nedra was always quick to smile and her smile lit up her whole face. After she moved from Mantua we would only see her occasionally but it was always as if we were old friends meeting over the back fence rather than with shopping carts. In the Temple when I would see her she shined with an inward light. We were definitely blessed to know both of them and to be in the extended family. IWe love the memorial video and the Obituary was such a loving tribute. You are in our prayers, Terry and Karen Nelson"

"About 15 years ago when I was a young woman, Nedra was in my church?s ward and assigned to be my ?secret Relief Society sister?. It didn?t end up being a secret because she brought a treat to my house to meet me! I remember she was so nice and caring and had smiling eyes. Every time I saw her after that, even when I graduated and moved, whenever I went back to visit my parents? church, Nedra was always so happy to see me and still made me feel special though her assignment was long over. What a genuine and neat lady she is! -Sheena Brown Yates"

"I think the world of Nedra. She is a dear, sweet lady. Growing up in the neighborhood she has always been so kind and always excited to hear how I'm doing. May you each find peace as you know she is reunited with her sweet husband and others who have gone before her. What a wonderful tribute to read and hear about such a sweet person."

"Unbelievable. I just saw Nedra probably Saturday August 7th here at the Brigham City temple and she gave me a big hug. She was always so positive and loving, raising my attitude of gratitude just seeing her smile! My sincere condolences to her family."
