FRANCES M. JACKSON MUSCATINE, Iowa - Frances M. FranĀ Jackson, 66, of Muscatine, died Friday, August 1, 2008, at her home. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Rabbi Michael Samuel will officiate. Casket bearers will be Dugan Porter, Brad Ward, Tony Ward, Jane Reifert, Larry Martin and Denny Jackson. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org. Online condolences for the Jackson family may be left at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Fran was born on September 19, 1941, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Jack and Sylvia (Kofsky) Miller. She married Gary R. Jackson on November 27, 1971, in Oquawka, Illinois and they lived in Muscatine for the last 37 years. Fran gradated from Rock Island High School in 1959. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, life time member of Unity Hospital Auxiliary. She worked at the Rock Island Argus, Quad City Times, Rock Island Arsenal, Von Maur and currently at Elder Beerman. Fran was a devoted wife, mother, baba, aunt, daughter, sister, friend and co-worker. She enjoyed playing scrabble, canasta, games of chance and traveling with her husband, children and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Gary R. Jackson. of Muscatine; three sons, Andy Seynaeve and wife, Janet, of Hampton, Illinois, Randy Seynaeve and wife Sherri, of Vancouver, Washington, Grant Jackson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one daughter, Susan Elizabeth Jackson and her husband Colin McCawley of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Emily and Joshua Seynaeve of Vancouver, Washington and Andrew and Alexandra Seynaeve of Hampton, Illinois; four sisters, Bea Buder and her husband, Harold, of Orangevale, California, twin sister, Fern Ward, of Sherrard, Illinois, Natalie Porter and her husband, Dugan, of Naples, Florida, and Sharon Price and her husband, Junior, of The Villages, Florida; Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Miller, her mother, Sylvia Miller Zipursky and a sister Ethel Rudio.
