Mr. Donald Nels Andersen, age 73, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born in Manistee, MI on April 4, 1948 to Nels & Mary (Zwiefka) Andersen. He married the former Dori Andree on August 1, 1987. Don or Donnie worked through the Iron Workers Local 340 as a Journeyman Ironworker for Northern Boiler and many other contractors for over 35 years before retiring. He was a member for over 40 years of the Eagles as well as a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and riding Harley motorcycles. After retiring he enjoyed car collecting, making blueberry wine, performing welding jobs for friends and taking many rides visiting family and buddies along the way. But most of all Don loved his family.

Wife, Dori; sons, Lloyd Andersen, Chad (Britney) Andersen; grandchildren, Payton, Megan, Bryatt, Bryce, Carly; brother, Robert (Linda) Andersen; sisters, Connie (Donald) Johnson, Sharon (Art) Minster, Mary Ann (Art) Nickleson, Sue (Ed) Remeika, brothers-in-law, Frank Balcer, Richard (Michele) Andree; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Chris Andersen & Mark Andersen; sister, Marne Balcer.
