Deborah S. Ellis MUSCATINE, Iowa - Deborah S. Ellis, 43, of Port Byron, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2008, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Deborah for the American Cancer Society. Deborah was born on February 24, 1965, in Muscatine, the daughter of Clarence James and Virginia Sue Meyer Ellis. She was employed at Case New Holland Plant of Mount Joy, in shipping and receiving. She was always a loving mother, and with her wonderful sense of humor she was always available to lend a helping hand to others, she enjoyed all types of music. She will be deeply missed by her long time companion, Matt Montieth of Port Byron, Illinois; her daughter, Tawny Jo Faith of Port Byron, Illinois; her father, Jim Ellis of Muscatine; her brother, David W. Ellis of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Ellis and two brothers, Jim Ellis and one brother in infancy.
