Donna Miller, 82 of Conrad, IA passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown, IA. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Homes in Conrad. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the First Presbyterian Church in Conrad. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established by the family. Donna was born on February 4, 1939 to Ernest and Anna (Buseman) VanEllen in Aplington, IA. She attended Aplington High School where she graduated. Donna was united in marriage to John Miller on January 28, 1961 in Conrad, IA. Donna and John made Conrad their home where they were blessed with three children. She was a lifelong member of the Conrad First Presbyterian Church where she would always be on Sunday mornings. Donna loved playing cards and board games, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends in her free time.
Donna will be dearly missed by her three children; Dawn (Tim) Zimmerman, Janet (Roger) Arends, Danny Miller, four grandchildren; Jill (Jason) Thede, Jenna (Brett) Boren, Jason Arends, Tyler Zimmerman, and two great grandchildren; Walker Boren and Jack Thede. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, and two brothers and one sister.
