David McCone, of Antigo, died Friday, August 27, 2021, at his home. He was 42 years old. He was born on May 18, 1979, in Wausau a son of Sharon Wissbroecker (Jamie Wirschem) of Antigo and James (Lorri) McCone of St. Germain.
David enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his daughter and granddaughter. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage, going to the casino with friends, and looked forward to a Friday fish fry.
He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Faith (Javier Vazquez) McCone of Eden; granddaughter, Angel; two step-sisters, Corina (Scott) Tesch of Antigo and Amber Murphy of Fond du Lac; and brother, Ryan McCone of Fond du Lac. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kaylin McCone; grandparents, Elmer and Norma Wissbroecker and Walter and Edith McCone.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 12 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Thom Desmond officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
A gathering following the service will be held at Boettcher's Bar.
