Lucille J. Ziegenhorn MUSCATINE, Iowa - Lucille J. Ziegenhorn, 75, of Muscatine, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at Carrington Place. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2008, Faith United Church of Christ. Casketbearers will be Brandon Ziegenhorn, Bradley Ziegenhorn, Jeremy Ziegenhorn, Tyler Ziegenhorn, Lucas Ziegenhorn, Amanda Ziegenhorn, Tracy Ziegenhorn and Jason Ziegenhorn. Honorary casketbearers will be Lincoln Ziegenhorn, Sarah Ziegenhorn, Caleb Ziegenhorn, Brenden Ziegenhorn and Arianna Ziegenhorn. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Faith United Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2008, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Lucille. Lucille was born on March 22, 1933, in Muscatine, the daughter of Walter and June Kindler Paetz. She married Carroll Leroy Ziegenhorn July 6, 1958, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2004. Lucille had worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone. Lucille was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ. She enjoyed caring for her dogs, and making sure family members received the gifts they wanted for Christmas and birthdays. She will be deeply missed by her children, Kent M. Ziegenhorn and wife, Daleen, of Woodland Park, Colorado, Terry L. Ziegenhorn and wife, Beth, of Muscatine, Nick W. Ziegenhorn and wife, Rhonda, of Muscatine, and Julie Ann Ziegenhorn-Wigner and husband, Robert, of Cedar Rapids, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a grandson, Mathew Titus.
