"Miss Cronican was my speech teacher in Ravenna around 1980. Then I had to learn to call her Mrs Little. :^) She'll always be in my heart."

"Jill will always hold a special place in my heart with her energetic and helpful ways. She was one of the first to enthusiastically welcome me to Fruitport Schools and really helped me find my feet in my new role. Her professionalism and excitement in working alongside her colleagues for the betterment of her students and families was unsurpassed by none. Her faith and love of service to others shown through all she did. I will miss her influence and kindness. I will be holding your family in prayer for strength through this very difficult time. With condolences, Miss Mary"

"She was always such a fun and great lady to have around the school. Even when I'd be having an awful day, she'd always make the other students and I smile. Her beautiful story telling will always be remembered.?"

"I will never forget the day I turned around to wait on the next customer and she had a bright purple wig on. I laughed out loud. You stared at me with a straight face and asked what was so funny. I had no words. Then you laughed. I knew we were fine. No one else there got your sense of humor, I did. Over the years, the wig colors changed, bright red braided pigtails, pink...... But you and I would stand there forever and just talk. You knew about my kids, bought the baby presents when I was pregnant. You and your husband danced with me when your son opened for Pop Evil. That man, he loves you something fierce. As I can see you saying, ' he would have to, to put up with all this.' I can only imagine his pain. Your family is in my heart. You are finally pain free, my dear. Every time I saw you, you said 'Everyday above ground is a good day.'. I took to saying it myself. Today is not...... I will miss you my friend. Rest easy???"

"This absolutely breaks my heart ?. Mrs Brott was a wonderful teacher and she?s helped so many students throughout the years. She was my second grade teacher, but she made a big impact on my life. She always stayed in touch with me through my time in the army while I was deployed or stationed in Korea. Even when I went through my depression a few years back she reached out to me and she would call me to check up on how I was doing. You will be greatly missed Jill Brott. Love to you and condolences to your family ???"
