James L. Rutter, Sr., on September 11, 2021, of Sicklerville; originally from South Philly. Age 71.

Beloved partner of Joyce Palm (nee Druschel). Devoted father of Nicky Rutter (fiancé Marean Thomas) and James Rutter Jr. and stepfather of Jody Barilotti (Fred), Michael Bartello, Eric Bartello, and the late Jackie Spratt (Pat). Loving grandfather of Sydney, Nicholas, Christian, and Alexa. Dear brother of Florence DeColli (the late Richard), Ginger Routzahn (the late David), and the late William Rutter (the late Patricia). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Son of the late Louis and Edith Rutter. Former partner of the late Jackie Bartello and former husband of Joanna Rutter (Lombardo).

Jimmy enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially the Flyers and the Eagles. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his 10th & Oregon crew, "All 4 One".

There will be a viewing from 7pm to 9pm Friday, September 17th and from 9am to 10am Saturday, September 18th at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Graveside service to follow at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
