"Anne Gadoury was a staple at Christie's Restaurant. I was so fortunate to have worked many of years with Anne. She was a big part of what made Christie's so special to so many people. I can still see her running around the dining room and racing back to the hostess stand to greet the line of patrons waiting anxiously to sit down. If you were not a worker then Anne would just step in and take over. Such a wonderful lady and friend."

"Dear Kenny, Debbie, Joanie, Linda, Lisa and your families, Memories of your Mom, Gollis Store, the 5th Ward and all of us kids playing on Atlantic St. bring back many memories. Your Mom worked very hard. She was kind and let us kids on the upper deck, have a sleepover and fed and gave us drinks as we ran up and down the stairs. Our Moms looked out for each other's kids back then. Your Mom would always stop a moment and talk to me when I was around. She was a very sweet and endearing Lady. I was very fond of her. When I walk in our neighborhood, I remember all our families as I go by the houses. My Mom liked your parents, too. My most heartfelt sympathy to you all and I will always have warm thoughts of your Mom. Fondly, Kathy Martins Sandru"
