Ann M. Samolyk, 74, of Forked River passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at home. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Linden for many years before moving to Forked River in 2001.
Mrs. Samolyk was a warehouse supervisor for Wakefern in Elizabeth for 38 years before retiring in 2001. She loved to travel, particularly to Aruba, where she traveled twice a year for the past 27 years. She was an avid bowler, and was a member and past officer of the Union County Women’s Bowling Association.
She is survived by her husband, John Samolyk; two brothers, Frank and Leonard Wojtaszek; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacy Road Forked River. Funeral service will be held during the evening calling hours.
