DEBRA KAY BARTON
Killen, Alabama - Debra Kay Barton, 63, Formerly of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at her home.
A private family graveside service will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Dan Schoepf will officiate. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Debra was born on March 7, 1958, in Muscatine, the daughter of Wesley LeRoy and Dixie Lee Erkson Brookhart. She married Joseph Howard Barton on November 14, 1983, in Muscatine.
Debra went to Muscatine High School and attended Muscatine community College. She enjoyed praying, spending time with family, and reading God's Word. Debra loved to sing.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Joe Barton; her son, Eric Barton and his wife, Kaleena; four grandchildren, Judah, Issac, Malachi, and Kierci; and her sisters, Vicki Lawhead and her husband, Carlin, Kathy Healy and her husband, Liam, Mary Morgan and her husband, Mike.
She is preceded in death by her parents and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
