Lorna Casarez
February 13, 1936 - September 19, 2021

Lorna Casarez, of Antigo, received her wings on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 85 years old. She was born on February 13, 1936, in Napolean, Ohio a daughter of the late John and Laura Mae (McMichell) Babcock.

She married Manuel Casarez on March 4, 1955, in Napoleon. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2004.

Lorna owned and operated County Casting Ceramics for 37 years.

Survivors include five children, Manuel (Judy) Casarez of Cedar Grove, Terry Wadel of Plymouth, Steven (Anne) Casarez of Adell, Roseanna (Scott) Hoffman of Antigo, and Gloria (DuWayne) Pagel of Polar; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Henrietta Lassiter; and a brother, Albert Babcock.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Lilly and Deborah Casarez; a son-in-law, Larry Wadel; two grandchildren, Angela and Steven Casarez; dear family friends, Dave and Anna Mae Miley; eight brothers; and seven sisters.

A private family service will be held. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Phlox.

Memorials in Lorna's name may be directed to the Langlade County Humane Society.
