Dick and Mary Jo Stanley wrote on Jan 2, 2010:

"To all the family, please accept our sympathy and support on the loss of Tom. We both have warm memories of him, going back to our growing up years. Mary Jo was best of friends with Joyce in Junior High School and recalls many contacts with Tom during those years. Dick was one year behind Tom in the Muscatine schools and has good recollections of him as well. After Tom left Muscatine for college, we still saw him from time to time during his visits home. He was a sensitive and capable man and will be remembered by many. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. May you find comfort and peace. Warmly, Dick and Mary Jo "
