Gary Lee Stouffer

Gary Lee Stouffer WILTON, Iowa - Gary Lee Stouffer, 57, passed from this world to the next Thursday, February 25, 2010. May he find peace and joy at last. Honoring his wishes there were no services. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Animals, PO Box 383, Tipton IA 52772 in his memory. Gary was born on April 26, 1952 in Amboy, Illinois, the son of Elton 'Cy' and Evelyn Bryant Stouffer. He married Judy K. Jurgens on March 14, 1998, in Bensenville, Illinois. He graduated from Amboy High School and worked for Hart-Carter Manufacturing Company for more than 20 years. He then earned his associate degree at Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, Illinois, and greatly enjoyed helping people as an x-ray and magnetic resonance imaging technician. He loved all animals, especially cats. He raced motorcycles when he was younger and his love of motorcycles continued throughout his life. Guns were a special interest that he shared with his brother, Rick. He is survived by his wife, Judy Stouffer; step-daughters, Dana Moran and husband, Paul, of Chicago, and Rebecca Vannier and husband, Dave, and their son, Dylan, of Knoxville, Tennessee; his brother, Rick Stouffer of Amboy, Illinois; a niece, Roxie George and husband, Danny, and their sons of Wichita, Kansas; nephew Brian Stouffer and his family of Mendota, Illinois; and a special aunt, Marjorie Ritchie of Independence, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents.
