DWAINE SINN MUSCATINE, Iowa - Dwaine Junior Sinn, 81, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at his home. Funeral Service will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Cottonwood Cemetery in Wayland. Reverend John Brown of the Fruitland Baptist Church will officiate. Honorary bearers will be Colton Reichert, Tyrel Reichert, Kyle Sinn, Adam Powell, Don Carroll, Mike Lamp, Greg Sinn, Kurt Sinn, James Michael Arbogast, Charles Lee, Lyle Manning Jr., and Jerry Truitt. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the funeral home. Online condolences for the Sinn family may be left at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the family in care of Delores Sinn. Dwaine was born on February 24, 1929, in Jefferson County, Iowa, the son of Wade and Garnet M. Rich Sinn. He married Delores Mae Manning on May 5, 1951, in Washington. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served as a Sergeant in the US Marines. He owned and operated DJ Sinn Excavating. He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Delores Sinn of Muscatine; one son, Gene Sinn and wife, Mindy, of Sterling, Illinois; one daughter, Glenda Reichert and husband, Gary, of Illinois City, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Tyrel Reichert, Colton Reichert, Adam Powell, Sarah Powell, Macie Sinn, Callie Sinn, Kyle Sinn and Emma Dee Sinn; one brother, Rex Sinn and wife, Corrine, of Wayland; and one sisters, Jane Stafford, of Palmetto, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Evelyn Lacey; and two brothers, Larry and Bob Sinn.
