"Bill, Steve, Phillip and Linda - I was saddened to read in the Muscatine Journal that my dear friend Phyllis passed away. We were social workers in Muscatine together and used to laugh every day, even though our work was not a laughing matter. I enjoyed knowing Delbert and was sorry to lose him, as was Nancy."
"Bill and Steve Our condolence in the loss of great lady in your life. She made her life interesting as she influenced your whole family. May all memories be great."
"Dear Bill- I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I only met her a couple of times, but I remember that she was a very sweet lady. Thinking of you and all of your family at this very difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you."

"Sorry to hear about your mom, even though we think we are prepared when we know the end is coming, it still is hard for the ones left behind. You were always the best son, everything fell on your shoulders, stopping by every day, getting the house ready to sell, putting off vacations. But you will have a lifetime of memories, stories that start "remember when mom told us not to ....and then we did it anyway" we all have a few of those. Sorry I can't be there for you at this time, but you are in my thoughts and prayers."
"I am so very sorry to hear about Phyllis' passing. She was a wonderful person. We did volunteer work together at the hospital and were members of the same P.E.O. chapter. Just remembering her brings a smile to my face."
"Phyllis and my mother were friends at the nursing home. They would sit together for hours. I am not sure how much conversation they had, but they were a support for one another. I so much loved Phyllis, knowing her from shopping at my shop. She was always a bright ray of sunshine."
