"I regret waiting this long to reach out, and would have loved to reminisce with Hesh about our motorcycle trip to Big Bend in ~'74 on our Triumphs. Hesh took me in as a roommate in his duplex on Westgate St. He was working at Shell and subsequently moved up north, after which I visited him. I was unaware he had returned to Houston. I've lost [or can't] find many photos from those days, but recently found this one of our trip. I can be reached at jmwted@comcast.net. Rest in peace, old friend."

"Hesh is and was one of a kind. He was our neighbor and dear friend. The greatest gift Hesh ever gave us was sharing his daughter, Allie, with our family. We are beyond grateful to him. Miss you, Hesh. "
