Robert G. Bishop, 62, of Canton, passed away, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at his home in Canton.
He was born on July 13, 1959, to Dale F. Bishop and Neva Miller. They preceded him in death along with one brother, Russell Bishop and one granddaughter, Melanie Ayers.
He is survived by three children, Dori Bishop, Dale Bishop and Gabby (Richard) Ball, four siblings, Gary (Cindy) Bishop, Jerry (Rhonda) Bishop, Janet (John) Gray and Randy (Patti) Bishop, and six grandchildren, Teisha Clark, Gavin Clark, Jocelyn Perez, Zander Bishop, Zavier Tinsley and Richard Ball.
Robert was a truck driver and belonged to the teamster's local union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushrooming, golf and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He loved boats and enjoyed spending time on the lake water skiing.
Cremation rites will be accorded a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Canton at 2:00 p.m.
A burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Fiatt Cemetery.
