"I worked with Teresa for many years, always one for a good laugh. I was on a long roadtrip during her last days, could not shake the dark cloud. The shock , hearing of her death on my return home, then I understood. The world lost a true friend on September 22, 2021. Teresa was born in Seattle Washington on August 1st 1962. Teresa was the daughter of Terril and Margie Muntz . Sister to Mark Muntz. And Cathy Muntz and Aunt to Christina Muntz.
Teresa grew up on 2nd ave S and attended Manhattan Elementary, Olympic Jr. High and Mt. Rainier High School in Des Moines. Teresa later resided at the family home in Tacoma on Waterview where her Grandparents had lived .
Teresa worked in Service at Burien Nissan and then moved on to Harley Davidson, Downtown and Destination locations in Seattle and Tacoma and made her career in Service and then in the Finance Department. She later changed careers and was still working for the United States Postal Service when she passed.
Teresa was diagnosed with Cancer and fought hard to beat it when she succumbed to Cancers horrible path.
Teresa enjoyed traveling and scuba diving in several countries as well as trips with her friends to near by Lakes, Beaches and Mountains. She deeply loved nature and was always photographing trees, rocks, clouds, waves , sunsets and flowers.
Teresa's deepest passion was animals and animal welfare. It was not out of the ordinary for Teresa to turn the car around and go back to check on an animal in need or make sure the welfare of the animal was taken care of.
She leaves behind her beloved dog Jake who she loved like no other., and many many friends that feel an empty space in their hearts. She was larger than life and had an amazing smile and an addicting laugh.
Teresa was loved dearly everywhere she worked and in every circle she traveled. She will be deeply missed by everyone she touched in her life's path.
Heaven is a brighter place now that Teresa has arrived; she is with her Mother and Father where she loved to be.
Rest in Peace beautiful girl, we all love you and miss you.
