William L. Sudderberg, 81, of Boone, Iowa, died Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.

Born December 15, 1939, in Ames, William "Bill" Louis Sudderberg was the son of Howard Louis and Iris Fae (York) Sudderberg. He graduated from high school and served four years in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Bill was employed as an elevator mechanic.
Survivors include two children, Chad (Sherry) Sudderberg of North Carolina, and Dawn (Victor) Petricevic of Oregon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Eric Sudderberg of Boone; two sisters, Elaine Barker of Idaho, and Laura Crystal of Colorado; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of William and his family.
