David E. Kautz BURNSVILLE, Minnesota - David E. Kautz, 67, of Burnsville, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 County Road 42, Burnsville, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Burnsville Community Foundation, Foundation 191, or Angel Foundation. The White Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. David was born on March 11, 1943, in Muscatine, the son of Roy and Virginia Kautz. He graduated from the University of Iowa, where he was a member of the golf team. He served in Vietnam in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed in the floor covering industry for 42 years. He was a Burnsville resident for more than 30 years. His dry wit brightened the day for all who had the opportunity to hear it. His quiet devotion to his family and community will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Kautz, Burnsville, Minnesota; two sons, Kyle Kautz of Portland, Oregon and Kevin Kautz and wife, Erica, of Laguna Nigel, California; a brother, Fred Kautz and wife, Joan, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; a sister, Jackie Ager and husband, Don, of Muscatine; nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by parents.
