"Tom was one of the best managers I ever had. He was truly an employee's manager, and he became a good friend.Though he retired nearly ten years ago, we kept in touch and I loved getting Christmas cards from him and Charlotte. I will miss you terribly, Tom. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, my friend, and to a big baseball field where everything goes out of the park. "Almighty God, we remember your faithful servant Tom; and we pray that, having opened to him the gates of larger life, you will receive him more and more into your joyful service, that, with all who have faithfully served you in the past, he may share in the eternal victory of Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen." -The Book of Common Prayer "
