David Ward Haas, age 70, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on August 16, 1951 to Ward Haas and Roberta (Collins) Noyes. He grew up in Muskegon Heights with his three brothers (Durbin Haas, Charles Noyes, Michael Noyes) and two sisters (Debi Haas, Kelley Noyes).

He married the former Rosalie Gonzalez on June 7, 1971. David has four surviving daughters, Tina (David) Cariker, Lita (Brian) Fisher, Karina (Eric) Ulfsax, and Shannon (David) Boothroyd. He has seven grand children Brian Bonebrake II, Justin Bonebrake, Laura Tietz, Nicole Tietz, Brittany Fisher, Amanda Ulfsax, Karly Ulfsax-Carlin, and three great-grand children.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, tinkering in his pole barn and riding his Harley Davidson. David and Rosalie enjoyed many visits to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan as well as Key West.

He was preceded in death by his mother (Roberta Noyes) and father (Ward Haas) as well as his step-father (Charles Noyes), and brother (Charles Noyes II).

David Haas had been employed as a Millwright for CWC, Sappi and then retired in 2016 from GM.
