Mr. Thomas Jay Carter, age 68, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on November 30, 1952 to Donald & Virginia (McDonald) Carter and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Cherie Simons on August 29, 1992. Mr. Carter worked in computers and as a truck driver. Thomas was a long standing member of AA and was always helping others. He enjoyed football including the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan, video games & his grandchildren.

Wife, Cherie Carter; son, Chad (Stacy) Carter; mother, Virginia (Gordon) McGuire; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Dori (Josh) Rood, Don (Laurie) Carter; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his father; son, Austin Carter.
