John C. Fisher
August 9, 1953 - October 13, 2021

John Fisher, of Antigo, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at his home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 68 years old. He was born on August 9, 1953, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Charles and Jeanne (Vande Wiele) Fisher.

John served in the United States Air Force from August 29, 1972 to March 1, 1975.

He was an operator for the Railroad for many years. He moved to Antigo in the late 1980s.

John was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and his dog, Hank.

John is survived by his wife, Melissa, who he married on July 10, 2012, in Sioux Falls, S.D. He is also survived by three daughters, Erin Fisher of Ohio, Nicole Francour of Keil and Emily Fisher of Eau Claire; a son, Ian (fiancé Jessie) Fisher of Waukesha; two brothers, Jeff Fisher and Jim (Barb) Fisher both of Milwaukee; three sisters, Sue Rettler of Tomah, Julie (Jerry) Smiley of Milwaukee and Mary Fisher of Milwaukee; father-in-law, Anthony Darr; mother-in-law, Dawn Darr; sister-in-law, Katie (fiancé Ryan) Darr; and brother-in-law, Adam Darr all of Antigo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Colton Fisher.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 22 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Sharing of memories will take place at 5 p.m. followed by military honors provided by Antigo veterans.
