BARBARA A. KISTENMACHER
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Barbara Ann Kistenmacher, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Calvary Church. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Vision Trust. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Barb was born on March 28, 1941, the daughter of Edwin H. and Lorene E. Viner Groters. She married Dennis Kistenmacher on July 21, 1962, in Muscatine.

Barb was a receptionist and nursing assistant at Dr. Carlson's office. She later worked as a teacher's aide in the preschool program. Barb was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, our church small group, Woman's Bible Study Group friends, playing games on her tablet, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Kistenmacher of Muscatine; her son, Brent Kistenmacher of Muscatine; one grandson, Robert J. Woolsey of Leavenworth, Kansas; and her sister, Shirley Amos and her husband, Floyd, of Muscatine.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cindy Woolsey; and one brother in infancy.
