George Tony Younan passed away October 24, 2021 at the age of 96. Uncle George was the last survivor of his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Shumsee Younan, siblings, Nate Younan, Mary Abdullah, Josephine Cole, Ann Donovan, Peter Younan, and Helen Lewis. He was most proud of serving his country during WWII, and being a Detroit Firefighter for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and could be seen every morning on the Detroit River on his boat catching Michigan walleye. Every night you would find him at Hazel Park Race Track picking winners and losers. He lived life. Rest In Peace Unc!
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
