Iris Beatty Angerer Davis PLEASANT HILL, Iowa - Iris Beatty Angerer Davis, 90, of Pleasant Hill, formerly of Muscatine, died March 30, 2011, at her home in Courtyard Estates in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery, 2907 Mulberry Ave., for Iris Angerer and her son, Michael Angerer, who passed away in 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Iris was born on October 4, 1920, in Vermont, Illinois, to Leonard and Nellie Lybarger Beatty. She married Francis Bud Angerer on August 22, 1942. After Bud's passing, she married Harry Davis of Muscatine. She had an adventuresome spirit and enjoyed many activities, her favorite being golf. She had many occupations: legal secretary, co-owner of the Muskie Trading Post, real estate agent and bookkeeper for Ripley's Mobile Home Park. She will be missed by her special friend, Fred Cheney, and all who knew her. She is survived by Stephen Angerer and wife, Belinda, of Eastland, Texas; Marco and Candace (Angerer) Morales Moran of Des Moines; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her both her husbands; a daughter, Sandra Angerer Burke; a son, Michael Angerer; and two brothers, Lyle and Lloyd Lum Beatty.
