In loving memory of

Eve Michele Willis
July 27, 1961 - November 7, 2021

Eve Michele Willis was born on July 27, 1961 to Erwin and Audrey (Meyers) Schwartz here in Dallas, Texas. Eve passed away at home, peacefully, on the 7th of November 2021; surrounded by her family and friends, during the Cowboys game, after a year- long battle with Pancreatic cancer. When originally diagnosed on October of 2020, as if there were not enough problems in the world, the doctors estimated Eve would survive another three months, if she was lucky. Her cancer had already metastasized and was in stage 4. This was unacceptable to Eve, and being the strong-willed and sometimes stubborn woman she was, she was determined to defy the odds; and did she ever!

Over the next 13 months, Eve embraced each day for what it was, a true blessing. Instead of wasting time being scared, Eve stepped up to the plate, and rather enjoyed the task of planning her own passing; most of all, being in control of every aspect! Eve spent the majority of her time here on earth being a loving mother to Arden and Brendan, an amazing wife to Danny, a supportive sister to her siblings Helene and Ande, and a loyal friend to so many people. Pancreatic cancer could not get in the way of her being the one thing she wanted to be the most in this world, a Grandmother to Everly.

When she wasn't being an amazing mother or a best friend to someone, she was an extremely dedicated, full-time employee and volunteer. After 30 years of working for Tom and Brenda Kalahar, and learning how to be successful through blood, sweat, and a few tears, she opened up her very own business called Eversion Media. Just like everything Eve touched throughout her amazing journey in this world, it was a huge success. She was smart, outspoken, very strong and selfless to a fault. She always considered others before herself. She led by example, and what a model of true human kindness! She will truly be missed.

Eve was very well known for wanting to give back. People close to her know that this is what she wanted her legacy to be. Whether it be to a loved one, a friend, or the community, she was very passionate about simply wanting to help in any way she could. One of her favorite things to do with her family and friends was donating to the less fortunate during the holidays. She enjoyed it so much she decided to make it a Willis family tradition! She taught us to give back not just on the holidays, but whenever we were able to. It is for this reason that in lieu of sending flowers to the Willis family, we ask that you please consider sending a donation in her honor to either the North Texas Food Bank, PanCAN, a foundation that helps prevent pancreatic cancer through early detection.

Links have been provided below for anybody who may be interested in donating to some of her favorite charities.
