In loving memory of

Charlotte Fine Frucht
September 3, 1925 - November 13, 2021

Charlotte Fine Frucht, 96, a longtime resident of Houston, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Charlotte was born in Wichita Falls, TX, on September 3, 1925, to Flora and Alfred Fine, and moved to Houston as a teenager. A blind date with Paul Frucht following WWII turned into 64 wonderful years of marriage where the loving couple raised three loving children.

Charlotte was an avid Mahjong player and devoted much of her time to volunteering. There was never a volunteer opportunity she turned down. If someone needed a volunteer, Charlotte was always willing to help.

Being part of a Jewish community also was very important to Charlotte. She was an active member of Congregation Emanu El and B'nai Brith Women.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Paul Frucht; sister Dorothy Elaine Roos; and sons-in-law Gerard Stafford and Mark Bodzin. She is survived by her children Paula Stafford, Sandi Bodzin Jordan (Fred), and Alan Frucht (Theresa); grandchildren Trey Stafford (Annie), Erin Karlin (Nate), David Bodzin (Lulu), Neil Frucht and Morgan Frucht; great-grandchildren Jacob, Beau, Micah, Oliver, and Giana; niece Sharon Roos; and sister and brother-in-law Bette Ann and Jerry Geren.

Charlotte has left a wonderful legacy and will be greatly missed. The family wants to give special thanks to Charlotte's wonderful caregivers, Rubie Wade and Willie Wade.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Emanu El Memorial Park, 8341 Bissonnet St. Houston, TX 77074

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Congregation Emanu El's Sisterhood or Emanu Elders.
