Ana Maria Ramirez, 64, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. She was born on August 1, 1957, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Santos and Ofelia (Ramos) Ramirez. Ana married Mario Moreno on September 29, 2018.
Ana was a CNA, previously working for the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. When she wasn't working, Ana enjoyed camping, gardening, playing bingo, and doing crafts. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, brought Ana great joy. She had a sense of humor and loved telling jokes.
Ana is survived by her husband Mario Moreno; sons Jimmy Ramirez, Alberto Ramirez and Alfredo Jaquze; sisters Linda Urbina and Raquel Ramirez; grandchildren Christian, Homero, Santos, Daniel, Marissa, Jordan, Isaiah, Jimmy Jr., Abrel, Malka, Brexton and Ember; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Gesiena, Genevieve, Vernon and Margo; along with numerous nieces and nephews and all of their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents Santos and Ofelia; son Homero; brother Santos; sister Lupe; and grandson Santos Jr.
A public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021.
