Kaitlyn Lee Lewis, born January 20th 1994, died of a brutal yet quick battle with leukemia. 10,166 days later, as the math scholar would tell us, Kate passed away on November 19th, 2021 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
"Kat", as her friends knew her, was the most selfless and kind person imaginable. Kaitlyn even carried this trait into her passion, World of Warcraft, where she was, and forever will be, a healer. Beyond the digital world she so excelled in, Kate's creative hobbies included counted cross stitch, knitting, and writing.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Mikki Lewis (Parnes) and Michael Lewis. In addition, Kaitlyn leaves behind her brother Taylor Lewis, her boyfriend Nick Yaven; and her grandparents, Felix and Linda Lewis; and Jean "Peppy" Parnes.
Her light will forever shine in her family's heart.
Kaitlyn's Memorial Service will be held at Dallas Jewish Funerals on Monday at 2:00 pm, located at 1611 N Central Expressway, Plano, TX 75075. (The southbound side of Hwy 75 before 16th Street - additional parking in the back of the building)
