John R. Beebe
John R. Beebe, 83, of Canton, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Courtyard Estates in Canton. He was born on September 11, 1938, in Canton, to Russell and Francis (Neville) Beebe. They preceded him in death. He first married Sharon (Nimmo) on February 22, 1962. She preceded him in death on November 10, 1981. He later married Dianne (Morris) on September 2, 1983. She also preceded him in death on September 6, 2010. He is survived by two children, Hope (Keith) Cox and Kevin (Renee) Beebe, a twin sister, Joanne (the late Marvin) Schoaff of Kentucky, five grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Myers, Tyler Beebe, Hannah Cox, Heather Cox and Nicole Beebe, two great grandchildren, T.J and Delainey, and two stepchildren, Patty (Steve) Kelley Mason and Tom Kelley. John grew up in Fairview and graduated from Valley High Senior High. He later graduated from DeVry University in Chicago. John retired from Caterpillar Mapleton plant in 1997 after 37 years of service. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. He enjoyed working in his garage on carpentry projects and repairing small engines. He also enjoyed restoring classic trucks. A Funeral Services will be held on, Tuesday November 23, 2021, at 2:30 p.m., at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton . Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
