Rachel B. Giorgi (nee Viola), on November 19, 2021. Formerly of Glassboro, Pennsauken, and West Deptford. Age 86.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph, Sr. Devoted mother of Rosemarie Wernig (Donald), Joseph, Jr. (Laurie), Gino (Teresa), Christopher (Patricia), and the late Laura Jean Coates (Edward). Dear sister of Vera, Angelina, and Joseph. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rachel was a wonderful cook and loved to feed everyone from her family to the children at Pennsauken schools, friends, and neighbors. Later in life she worked at Shoprite of West Deptford for 20 years. She enjoyed sharing her recipes and cooking tips with her customers.

There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 am at St. Bridget University Parish, 125 Church Street, Glassboro, NJ 08028.

Funeral Mass 11 am in the church.

Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rachel's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 www.stjude.org.

"I was Rachel's neighbor, across the street in Pennsauken. When I first moved in, she took the time to make me feel welcome in the neighborhood. Chris became part of our family, going on family outings as often as possible. She did a fine job raising her children, they were very polite."
