"Carol and I are deeply saddened by Mike?s passing. He was a true patriot who served his country and his community his entire life. A wonderful husband, dad and friend. I met him in 2007 through his selfless work with the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Whenever I lost a Marine or Sailor, my first call for help for their families went to Mike. He was always ready, willing and able to help - and the families of the fallen remember him fondly. One of the best and most selfless men we?ve ever known - and we miss him and will remember him forever."
